sphagnum (spagnum) Moss has an enormous moisture retention capacity and can hold 20 times its weight water record. This allows the plants grow with constant moisture (but not saturated), while also being exposed to air. This ensures better use of water resources and low-frequency irrigation compared to other substrates.
