Buy Macodes Petola Jewel Orchid rooted cutting

Original price was: €24.95.Current price is: €14.95.

The Macodes Petola is a true feast for the eyes. This beautiful looking diva, a small houseplant is unique because of the beautiful drawing and patterns on the leaves.

These leaves are oval in shape with pointed tips. The texture feels like velvet. The drawing is especially special. The light lines contrast nicely with the dark leaf color and diverge from the center like a kind of lightning bolt.

It's hard to imagine a beauty like the Macodes Petola just growing in the wild. You can find it in the rainforests of South Asia.

The Macodes falls within the Cranichideae, a genus that also includes the Orchid. For that reason it is also called a Jewel Orchid.

    • Keep the soil slightly moist; do not let the soil dry out. It is better to water small amounts regularly than a lot at a time. Yellow leaf means too much water is being given.
