Buying and caring for Aspidistra Elatior

The aspidistra is ideally suited to be placed in dark places in the house or office. This plant needs little light and humidity and does not mind temperature fluctuations and neglect. The Aspidistra is an easy-to-maintain plant, occasionally forgetting to water or watering irregularly is not a problem, just “like most plants” prefer not to leave the roots in the water.
The aspidistra is a slow grower. Repotting can be done immediately after purchasing the plant, but it is better in the spring or summer. Always take a pot that is 15 to 20% larger than the old pot.
