Description

Seramis tester with color indication for soil moisture

The Seramis tester warns you when to water your plant. Stays permanently with your plant. The color of the display changes from blue to red when watering is required. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

The gauges are available in two sizes. The moisture meter with a length of 25 cm is sufficient for pots with a height of 16 cm. If the pot is higher than 25 cm, you will need the longer 26 cm moisture meter. The service life is about one year.

Also available with 2 pieces per box, with description.

Using the Seramis Moisture Indicator

Insert the meter into the ground until the window is permanently near the plant. The window turns blue if the plant has access to sufficient water. If you have a plant that needs a lot of water, water when the window starts to turn red. If you have a plant with an average water requirement, wait until the entire window turns red before watering. If it concerns a plant with a low water requirement, do not water until the window shows red for a few days.

Color change (also after watering) occurs after 3-4 hours, so do not water again until 4 hours after watering the window is still not blue. Every plant permanently needs its own moisture meter, you cannot check different plants with one Seramis moisture indicator.

This simple moisture indicator works without batteries and has a lifespan of approximately 1 year. Test it by letting the water meter dry completely and then place it in a glass of water. Does the meter not color from red to blue? Then it's time to replace it. Even if the window turns black, the meter needs to be replaced.

Note: Wetting the display may shorten its life.
