- A natural fungus, Metarhizium anisopliae, has been added to this compost, which fights harmful insects at all stages of growth (beetles, larvae and eggs). This means that both the above-ground parts of the plant and the roots are protected.
- Apply a layer of at least 1 cm along the base of the plant or hedge.
- Work this through the top layer of the soil.
- Give plenty of water.
The compost has an optimal effect between 15°C and 30°C.
Organic fungus
The fungus Metarhizium anisopliae is permitted for use in organic farming, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848. It only works against a specific number of soil insects. The fungus has no effect on useful soil organisms, such as earthworms. In addition, it is also a safe product for bees, because you process the compost through the soil. Only a number of harmful insects that come into contact with the fungus are combated. It is not harmful to pets in this form and when used as described.
Application
Metarhizium anisopliae is approved as a natural pesticide against harmful (soil) insects for perennials, container plants, hedges, small fruit in planters, ornamental and vegetable gardens.
Dosage
The content of this bag is sufficient for approx. 1½ -2 m2 or 3-4 m1 (linear metre).

This compost carries the MPS certificate for sustainability. This means that renewable and circular raw materials are used to a significant extent. In addition, the packaging is more sustainable due to the use of vegetable (bio-based) raw materials. The base is composted vegetable material, no animal additives or fertilizers have been added.
