The Crassula Pyramidalis is a beautiful Crassula species with fine leaves. These grow very close together and give the Crassula Pyramidalis its most characteristic shape. The Crassula Pyramidalis occurs in nature in the south of the Great Karoo desert in South Africa. Here the Crassula Pyramidalis grows between low vegetation and on siphon tops.
The trunks of the Crassula Pyramidalis can be 15cm high and 2,5cm wide. The Crassula Pyramidalis branches from the trunk as it grows. The trunks of the Crassula Pyramidalis are dark green in color. In the summer the tops of the plant turn orange-red due to the sun.
The Crassula Pyramidalis only blooms once in its life. This happens with old plants and after flowering this Crassula dies. The Crassula Pyramidalis flowers in the summer. When the Crassula Pyramidalis starts to bloom, the tops of the plant change into racemes of beautiful white flowers.
